Travel Scholarship Applications Open Applications are open for the UIST 2026 Travel Scholarship, which covers up to $1,000 toward travel, accommodation, meals, and registration for students and early-career researchers who would otherwise be unable to attend in person. Workshops Announced Eleven workshops have been accepted for UIST 2026! All are held on Monday, November 2 — five full-day, plus six half-day workshops split between morning and afternoon sessions — covering topics from flavor archives and agentic reimplementation to accessibility, haptics, and writing assistants. Browse the full lineup for times and add a workshop to your registration. No separate paper submission is required to take part.August 2026
Registration
Registration is open. Early-bird rates run through September 4 and regular rates through October 2; after that it is late/on-site pricing. A workshop can be added to an existing registration at any time.
Hotel
A block of rooms is held at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center at the conference rate. The hotel is in the same building as the venue, and rooms go first come, first served — book early.
