UIST '94
Seventh Annual Symposium on
User Interface Software and Technology
Sponsored by ACM SIGCHI and SIGGRAPH
In Cooperation with ACM SIGSOFT
November 2-4, 1994
Doubletree Hotel, Marina del Rey, California
UIST '94, the Seventh Annual Symposium on User Interface Software and
Technology, is the premier forum on innovative development of the
human-computer interface. In the past, the symposium has brought together
user-interface researchers and practitioners with interests in techniques,
tools, and technology for constructing quality, innovative user interfaces.
The intimate size, single track, and comfortable surroundings make this
symposium an ideal opportunity to exchange research results and implementation
experiences. This tradition will continue and those of us behind the scene of
UIST will do our best to make UIST a stimulating place for researchers to
share their ideas, and to learn about other researchers in the field.
The program chair of UIST '94,
Pedro Szekely,
would like to welcome you to
UIST '94. In addition to the quality of the symposium, Pedro thinks
Marina del Rey is such a cool place. The weather there in November makes
Marina del Rey a great escape from cold winter of North America, Europe, and
North Asia. Pedro is also planning a local tour to the Information Sciences
Institute at USC, which is only a mile away from the symposium hotel.
Words have it that nice
demos are already
lining up for UIST attendees.
