November 15-17, 1995
Welcome to UIST '95 home page.
UIST '95 is the premier forum for innovations in developing human-computer interfaces.
The symposium brings together user-interface researchers and practitioners with
an interest in techniques, tools, and technology for constructing high-quality,
innovative user interfaces. UIST has been a very small and exciting conference.
The intimate size, single track, and comfortable surroundings make this symposium an
ideal opportunity to exchange research results and implementation experiences with
other attendees. The conference will be in the Westin William Penn, mostly in the beautiful urban room. This year, Brad Myers, the symposium
chair, would like to invite all of you to join yet another exciting UIST. The symposium
this year will feature 3 invited talks, a panel, 21 papers, 5 technotes, 5
refereed demonstrations, and numerous demos by the
CMU Human-Computer Interaction Institute.
Here's some of the available information about the conference and Pittsburgh.
UIST'95 is very grateful to our Corporate Sponsors:
Additional corporate sponsors would be appreciated. Sponsors
will be acknowledged here and in the final program. Please
