Mail-in Registration

Mail-in registration is available if you wish to pay by official company check, bank draft, or money order made out to ACM UIST 2004. Personal checks are not accepted. Cash will be accepted only on-site, and at the on-site rate.   Mail-in registration rates will be based on date of receipt. Cancellation policy

If we receive your registration cancellation by September 30, we will refund your registration fee minus a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued for registrations cancelled after September 30.

Cancellation of orders for additional copies of proceedings will not be processed after September 30.

Cancellation of orders for additional reception or banquet tickets will not be processed after October 17.

The UIST 2004 conference hotel is La Fonda on the Plaza. Located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, at the end of the historic Santa Fe Trail, La Fonda Hotel is a member of the National Trust Historic Hotels of America. One of the oldest hotels in the country—and the only hotel situated on the city's Plaza—La Fonda has retained its historic Santa Fe ambiance while acquiring all of the modern amenities. Throughout the duration of the conference, complimentary WiFi access will be provided to all attendees, with complimentary T-1 access in all meeting rooms.

We have reserved a block of rooms at the special conference rate of $150/night per room (single or double occupancy, plus $20 for each additional person beyond two). The conference rate will be honored for up to three days before or after the conference, based on availability. Children 12 and under stay free in the same room with parents, utilizing existing bedding. Reservations must be made by Sunday October 3 to obtain this rate.

Note: Please be sure to register at the conference hotel. UIST receives complimentary use of hotel meeting rooms only if we meet our attendee guest room quota. If we do not meet the quota, we are obligated to pay substantial rental fees for the meeting rooms, which will result in scaled-back food service this year and significantly increased registration fees next year. So, please stay at the conference hotel.
