Video previews are mandatory accompanying material for all papers that will be presented at the conference.
Please carefully read the following instructions and submit your Video Preview in the dedicated "Video Preview" field of your final submission at http://www.precisionconference.com/~sighchi by July 14, 17:00 PDT.
UIST 2014 will, for the first time, integrate Video Previews of all papers presented at the conference. Video Previews are 30 second videos that can be thought of as an elevator pitch to give a glimpse of your work, and are here to help connect your work with the community at the conference and beyond. They will be integrated in the ACM Digital Library as well as the UIST YouTube channel prior to the conference, and will be broadcast on large screens during conference. This provides the authors a great opportunity to publicize their work to a wider audience and to attract more readers to their paper (*). For the first time, UIST 2014 will have multiple sessions, so the Video Previews will also help conference attendees decide which presentations to attend.
For inspiration, you can watch the Video Previews of CHI 2013, CHI 2014 and VIS 2013, which adopted the same format. We also refer you to the UIST 2014 Video Guide for tips on how to create a good video.
Your Video Preview must comply with all the points in the following checklists. If not, make the necessary changes, re-consult the checklist, and then submit your video.
Before submitting, we invite you to check the compliance of your file using the UIST Video Previews Checker.
